Strathfield’s commercial life clusters around the station: private colleges and training providers, education and migration agencies, transport and logistics back-offices, and a layer of professional suites. Student and applicant data dominates what comes out of here.
Kinsoft collects and securely destroys end-of-life hardware across Strathfield, Homebush, Flemington, Burwood, Concord and Croydon Park.
What makes a Strathfield collection different
Colleges hold applicant identity data. Enrolment files contain passports, visa documents, academic transcripts and payment records — exactly the combination identity fraud needs.
Training providers churn lab PCs. Computer rooms are replaced in blocks, and the old machines have had dozens of student accounts on them with locally saved work nobody has reviewed.
Agencies keep scanned documents for years. Education and migration agents accumulate scans on office drives and on the multifunction printer that produced them.
Station-side loading is awkward. Short-stay parking and constant traffic mean a planned window rather than a casual pull-up.
Secure data destruction
Drives are wiped to DoD 5220.22-M by default, with NIST 800-88 and the Australian ISM available. SSDs use firmware-level Secure Erase. Certificates record make, model, serial, standard and verification per device. Full detail on our e-waste removal and data destruction page.

We’re a CRICOS provider. Does this help with our record obligations?
It helps with the disposal side. Keep the records you are required to keep; the certificates evidence that the retired hardware was destroyed to a named standard.
Lab machines had student logins. Is that a problem?
It is the reason to wipe them. Locally saved student work, cached credentials and browser data all sit on those drives.
Can you collect between intakes?
Yes. Tell us the gap between intakes and we will schedule the computer room inside it.
