Blacktown covers a lot of ground and a lot of business types. Within a few kilometres you have distribution warehouses, strip retail, professional suites above shops, and the service businesses supporting a very large residential catchment. Collections here are rarely one site.
Kinsoft collects and securely destroys end-of-life hardware across Blacktown, Seven Hills, Prospect, Kings Langley, Doonside and Marayong.
What makes a Blacktown collection different
Multi-site businesses are common. A business with a warehouse in Prospect, an office in Blacktown and a shopfront in Seven Hills wants one collection, one invoice and one certificate set covering all three.
Retail POS is everywhere. Terminals, back-office PCs and card readers hold transaction history, and retailers almost never think of them as computers when the fit-out changes.
Distribution sites run warehouse management systems. Scanners, printers and the server driving them all come out together at the end of a lease.
Driveway access, not docks. Most sites here have ground-level access and parking, which makes bulk collections simpler and cheaper than the equivalent job in the CBD.
Secure data destruction
Drives are wiped to DoD 5220.22-M by default, with NIST 800-88 and the Australian ISM available. SSDs use firmware-level Secure Erase. Certificates record make, model, serial, standard and verification per device. Full detail on our e-waste removal and data destruction page.
Arrange a collection
Call 02 9064 2663 or contact us online. We cover Blacktown, Seven Hills, Prospect, Kings Langley, Doonside and Marayong.
Can you collect from three sites on the same day?
Usually yes, if they are reasonably close. We will route them together and give you one consolidated certificate set.
Do POS terminals need wiping?
Yes. They hold transaction records and sometimes partial card data, and they are the item most often left behind for the landlord.
What happens to equipment that still works?
If it has resale value we will tell you and offset it against the job. The drive is still wiped first, without exception.
