What makes a Kogarah collection different
Specialist suites hold complete patient histories. A consulting room PC may carry years of correspondence, results and referral letters for a single practitioner’s entire patient list.
Imaging and diagnostic devices store locally. Ultrasound, audiometry and ECG units cache studies on internal media that survives a factory reset. These are checked individually, not assumed clean.
Practitioners share buildings but not systems. Several specialists per floor, each with their own software and their own obligations. Certificates are issued per practice, not per building.
Retention rules outlive the hardware. Health records must be kept for years after the machine is gone. The data needs migrating before the drive is destroyed — not after.
Secure data destruction

Does an ultrasound machine need wiping?
If it stores studies, yes. We check the device rather than assume, and list what we find on the certificate.
