Mascot is two different places for a collection. There are the newer corporate towers around the station with full building management and booked docks, and there is the airport-adjacent freight and logistics belt where access is through security-controlled gates and a pass you have to arrange in advance.

Kinsoft collects and securely destroys end-of-life hardware across Mascot, Botany, Banksmeadow, Rosebery, Eastlakes and Alexandria.

What makes a Mascot collection different

Airside and bonded areas need clearance. Sites inside the airport precinct require pre-arranged access and identification. We organise that before the day rather than turning up and negotiating at a gate.

Freight systems hold consignment data. Customs declarations, consignee addresses and commercial values live on warehouse PCs and handheld scanners that nobody treats as data-bearing.

Shift work means odd windows. Logistics operations run around the clock, so the quiet window may be 2am. We work to it.

Tower and warehouse in one job. A freight company’s office is often in a Mascot tower while the operation is a kilometre away. Two very different access regimes, one certificate set.

Secure data destruction

Drives are wiped to DoD 5220.22-M by default, with NIST 800-88 and the Australian ISM available. SSDs use firmware-level Secure Erase. Certificates record make, model, serial, standard and verification per device. Full detail on our e-waste removal and data destruction page.

Arrange a collection

Call 02 9064 2663 or contact us online. We cover Mascot, Botany, Banksmeadow, Rosebery, Eastlakes and Alexandria.

Our site needs an airport security pass. Can you arrange that?

Yes. Tell us the requirement when you book and we will complete the access process before the collection date.

Can you collect overnight?

Yes. Overnight and early-morning windows are routine for logistics sites and cost no more than daytime.

Do customs and consignment records need secure destruction?

They should be treated as commercially sensitive at minimum. Consignee details and declared values are not something to leave on a scrapped PC.
