What makes a Manly collection different
Access is the constraint. The Corso and the side streets have short loading zones and timed restrictions. Early morning collections avoid the problem entirely, so that is when we come.
Hospitality venues run POS and booking systems. Pubs, cafes and restaurants replace terminals, kitchen displays and back-office PCs on refit, and those hold card transaction history and staff records.
Creative agencies accumulate drives. Media and marketing firms keep project archives on external disks stacked in a cupboard, unlabelled and unencrypted.
Coastal corrosion shortens life. Equipment near the water fails earlier. More failed drives means more physical destruction and fewer clean wipes.
Secure data destruction
Drives are wiped to DoD 5220.22-M by default, with NIST 800-88 and the Australian ISM available. SSDs use firmware-level Secure Erase. Certificates record make, model, serial, standard and verification per device. Full detail on our e-waste removal and data destruction page.

Yes, terminals, kitchen displays and the back-office machine. They hold transaction and staff data and should not go in a skip.
Can you take a box of old external drives?
Yes, and they are usually the highest-risk item in a creative office. Each one is listed individually on the certificate.
