Ryde sits between the Macquarie Park business parks and the suburban centres along Victoria Road, and collections here draw from both. One booking might cover a tidy business-park floor and a 1970s suburban office where the equipment has never been audited.
Kinsoft collects and securely destroys end-of-life hardware across Ryde, West Ryde, Meadowbank, Gladesville, Eastwood and Denistone.
What makes a Ryde collection different
Two building types, one job. Business-park floors have docks, lifts and facilities contacts. The Victoria Road suites have a street door and a flight of stairs. We plan for both in the same booking.
Council and community facilities hold resident data. Libraries, community centres and depot offices run public-access PCs and booking systems holding names, addresses and payment records.
Long-tenured businesses accumulate. Firms that have been in the same Ryde office for twenty years have a storeroom nobody has opened: CRTs, tape drives, server towers, and a filing cabinet of floppy and optical media.
Public-access machines need extra care. A library PC has had hundreds of users on it. Nobody can say what was saved locally, so the whole drive is treated as sensitive.
Secure data destruction
Drives are wiped to DoD 5220.22-M by default, with NIST 800-88 and the Australian ISM available. SSDs use firmware-level Secure Erase. Certificates record make, model, serial, standard and verification per device. Full detail on our e-waste removal and data destruction page.
Arrange a collection
Call 02 9064 2663 or contact us online. We cover Ryde, West Ryde, Meadowbank, Gladesville, Eastwood and Denistone.
We found CRT monitors in the storeroom. Will you take them?
Yes. CRTs contain leaded glass and must not go to landfill. They are handled as a separate stream and accounted for by weight.
What about old floppies, CDs and tapes?
All shredded and listed. Optical and magnetic media are the items most often forgotten and most often still readable.
Can you quote without us doing an inventory first?
Yes. Describe roughly what is there and we will quote on that, then inventory properly on the day.
